Hi friends! I whipped up a quick card this morning for the Jingle Belles weekly prompt. This week... "reindeer games!" At first, I was like, "great. I don't have any reindeer in my stash." Then, I found the Basic Grey paper pad! The tag and the patterned paper are both from the Jovial collection... are you sick of seeing me use the same 'ole stuff?
In addition to the BG Jovial papers and tag embellishment, I also used a couple rub-ons, a "love" stamp, some cranberry seam binding tape (my mom gave me loads of spools!!) to make a bow and added some hand cut felt leaves all bound together with button and twine. I actually love this card... and so does Elan. He thinks it's a hunting card. :)

LOL! Love the hunting card!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the festive look of your card. The hand cut leaves add such a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteI personally think this is some of the prettiest reindeer paper ever ... and I never tire of that classic collection of paper ... love that coordinating tag and the pop of color from the seam binding ... and I agree with Elan ... it would be a great card for a guy ... so glad you joined us at jingle belles.
ReplyDeleteI obviously need to go back to Jovial and look at it again as I adore this paper. This is the most beautiful card and the seambinding bow cluster is just gorgeous. Love it.
ReplyDeleteperfect-o!!!!
ReplyDelete*WHO* could get tired of beautifully balanced, perfectly composed, utterly gorgeous holiday cards that have a brilliant combination/amount of elements and embellishments??!?! not me, missus! not me!!! this is ♥AWESOME♥ as per usual!
ReplyDeleteps: would these lovely reindeer be so "JOVIAL" if they knew elan's plans for them??! ...perhaps it's best they don't... (shhhhhhhhhh!) ;) :) :)
Perfect!! ... I'm so sorry I couldn't get this weeks challenge done with being on vacation ... you did a great job!!
