I flipped and flopped the sketch, but ended up using it as is, but pushing the design up more towards the top. This is what I created:
I used papers from K & Co. Cut-n-Paste collection and the the border and brad are also from K & Co. Flowers are from MM and stamps are Scenic Route and Impress Rubber Stamps. There is something wrong with my sewing machine, so I faux stitched the border. A close up:
I achieved the look I was going for: Shabby Chic. This card is for Mamaw, Stephen's grandmother who is turning 85 (I think) on Monday. She loves handmade stuff and saves every card I give to her- which makes me want to make something fabulous for her! The pics didn't turn out very good- it's been really rainy here in Louisville today. Enjoy anyway!
